CROOKELTY FARMHOUSE SELF CATERING ACCOMMODATION

Crookelty Farmhouse Front Crookelty farmhouse is a fabulous old house with masses of old fashioned charm. It has been lovingly restored and boasts many original features including the heavy solid oak front door. The farmhouse has been handed down through the generations and is now owned by Paul Brownrigg whose father, Sam, was born in the house. Paul is the fourth generation of the Brownrigg family to own Crookelty.

Crookelty Farmhouse Sitting Room Inside the farmhouse is a cosy sitting room with the original sandstone inglenook fireplace which was discovered hidden behind a fifties tiled fireplace during the renovation work. The sitting room has the original exposed oak beams as does the large dining room. There is a TV, DVD player and a CD/radio in the sitting room.

Upstairs there are 3 stunning bedrooms; 2 doubles (one of which has an en-suite shower room), and one room with a double and a single bed. There is also a large family bathroom with a bath and shower.

Crookelty Farmhouse is attached to Crookelty Byre and the garden and parking areas are shared. There is parking for up to 3 cars for each house. There is also secure storage for bikes and buggies. For large parties (up to 13 plus a cot) the two properties can be let together as they have internal dividing doors which, when unlocked, allow access from one side to the other without the need to go outside.

The Farmhouse and grounds are strictly non-smoking to ensure the comfort of future guests. Pets and children are very welcome although the Farmhouse may not be suitable for all children due to the high specification of fixtures and fittings and the fact the property is on several levels with lots of stairs and some uneven floor surfaces.
